Privacy Policy — Spring Design Apps
Effective date: October 27, 2026
Overview
This privacy policy applies to all mobile applications published by Spring Design ("we", "our", "us"), including our Quran, educational, learning, teaching and tutoring, mathematics, children's, keyboard, utility, security, and game apps. It describes, feature by feature, what our apps do and do not do with information. A section applies to an app only when that app uses the feature described.
We do not collect your personal data on our own servers. Our apps do not require accounts or sign-up, and we never sell personal information.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not create user accounts and do not ask for your name, email address, or any personal identifiers inside our apps.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
- Except where the Advertising section below applies, our apps do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
Information Stored On Your Device
Our apps may store the following only on your device (local app storage). It never leaves your phone:
- App preferences (language, theme, settings)
- Bookmarks, favorites, and reading or play history
- Learning or game progress (levels completed, scores, achievements)
- Purchase status (whether premium features are unlocked)
- In our vault and lock apps: your encrypted files, documents, passwords, and notes, your PIN and lock settings, and the list of apps you chose to lock — all stored on your device only (see Security and Utility Apps below)
- In our scanner and cleaner apps: scan results and storage analysis produced on your device
- In our keyboard apps: learned words and typing preferences, stored on your device only
- In our learning, mathematics, and children's apps: lesson progress, answers, and achievements, stored on your device only
You can delete all of this at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app. Files you exported yourself from a vault app (for example, a backup file you saved) stay wherever you saved them until you delete them.
Network Use
Some apps stream audio or content from our servers (for example, reciter audio). Streaming works like any media playback: your device requests the file, and our server delivers it. We do not log or associate these requests with you — there is no account or identifier attached.
Security and Utility Apps (applies only to apps that offer these features — currently: Virus Scanner, Calculator Vault, Document Vault, Password Vault, LockUp, and Phone Cleaner)
Our security and utility apps work on your device. They have no account, no sign-up, and no server of ours that receives your files, passwords, scan results, or lock settings.
- Scanning and cleaning stay on the device. Virus Scanner checks your installed apps and files on your device and keeps its results on your phone; it does not upload your apps, files, or results anywhere. Phone Cleaner analyses your device storage on your device; nothing it finds is uploaded. No scan or cleaning result is sent to us or to any third party.
- Vaults are encrypted on the device. In our vault apps, the files, documents, passwords, and notes you put in the vault are encrypted on your device. Only the PIN (or other unlock method you set) can open them. We cannot open your vault, and losing your PIN and recovery method can mean losing access to vault contents — that is by design, so that no one else, including us, can open them.
- PIN recovery, where offered, is verified on your device. If an app offers PIN recovery, you may register a recovery email on your device at setup. Recovery is verified on your device, and we do not send recovery codes from our servers and do not receive your email address. This check confirms you know the registered email; it is not Google account verification.
- Locking stays on the device. LockUp locks the apps you choose on your device, using the PIN you set. The list of locked apps, lock settings, and any intruder photos or logs the app records are stored only on your device, where the feature is turned on.
- Permissions are used only for the feature you asked for. For example, a scanner or cleaner may ask to see installed apps or files so it can scan or analyse them; a vault may ask for file access so you can import a document; a lock app may ask for the access needed to show its lock screen over a locked app. You can withdraw a permission at any time in your device settings — the related feature will then stop working until you allow it again.
- Purchases and ads. Premium features in these apps are bought through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (see In-App Purchases below). Where a free version of a security or utility app shows advertising, it is banner advertising only, provided as described in the Advertising section, and buying Premium removes ads from that app permanently.
These apps do not use analytics or tracking SDKs, and they do not contain chat or user-generated content.
Keyboard, Learning, and Children's Apps (applies only to apps that offer these features)
Our keyboard, learning, teaching, tutoring, mathematics, and children's apps follow the same rule as all of our apps: no account, no sign-up, and no server of ours that receives your information. Everything below happens on your device.
- Keyboard apps. A keyboard app processes what you type on your device so it can show suggestions and corrections. It never sends your keystrokes anywhere: no accounts, no cloud, no ads. Words it learns from your typing, and your keyboard preferences, stay on your device, and you can turn learning off (for example, with an incognito mode where offered) or clear what was learned in the app's settings. The microphone is used only for voice input, and only if you grant microphone permission.
- Learning, teaching, tutoring, and mathematics apps. Lessons, exercises, answers, and progress are kept on your device. These apps do not ask you to create an account, do not include chat, and do not send your answers or progress to us or to anyone else. Where an app streams lesson audio or content, the Network Use section above applies.
- Children's apps. Apps made for children do not ask children for personal information, do not include chat or user-generated content, and do not send information to our servers. Progress and preferences stay on the device. A parent or guardian can delete everything by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app, and can contact us at the address below with any question.
Advertising (applies only to apps that show ads — currently: Life Runner)
Some of our game apps are supported by advertising. The free version of those apps shows ads provided by Google AdMob, including short interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. To serve, limit, and measure ads, Google may process:
- Device and advertising identifiers
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Ad interactions and app activity related to ads
- Diagnostics and performance data
This processing is done by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads). Where an app offers a paid "Full Version" or similar upgrade, buying it removes all ads from that app permanently. Our other apps (including our Quran, educational, and utility apps) contain no advertising.
Google Play Games (applies only to games that offer it — currently: Life Runner)
Some of our games offer optional Google Play Games features such as leaderboards and achievements. Taking part is voluntary and requires signing in with your Google Play Games profile, which is provided and managed by Google. If you take part, your Play Games display name and your scores may be shown on public leaderboards (for example, a daily Top 20 list) inside the game and in Google Play Games. If you do not sign in, no leaderboard or achievement data is sent.
In-App Purchases
Some of our apps offer optional in-app purchases (one-time purchases or subscriptions) that unlock premium features. Purchases are processed entirely by the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. We do not see or store your payment information — the store handles billing under its own privacy policy.
Permissions
Our apps do not request sensitive device permissions beyond what is needed for their core function (such as network access for streaming content or showing ads in ad-supported apps, file or app access for scanning, cleaning, vault import, or app locking in our security and utility apps, as described above, or microphone access for voice input in a keyboard app, only when you grant it).
Children
Our apps contain no user-generated content and no chat. Our Quran, educational, learning, children's, keyboard, and utility apps contain no ads and no data collection on our servers and are safe for all ages. Our ad-supported games are not directed at children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at the same location. Continued use of our apps after a change means you accept the updated policy.
